Terms Of Service
BeatzLock Authenticator Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using BeatzLock Authenticator, including the BeatzLock mobile, desktop, and web-related services, APIs, update services, account services, sync services, and recovery features.
By creating an account, signing in, syncing data, downloading updates, or otherwise using BeatzLock, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or service.
1. Who provides BeatzLock
BeatzLock Authenticator is provided by Felix Mokaya / felixmokayabeatz.
Contact: felixmokayabeatz@proton.me
Website: https://www.felixmokayabeatz.online/
2. What BeatzLock does
BeatzLock helps you store and manage time-based one-time password accounts and related authentication data. Depending on the version and platform you use, BeatzLock may provide:
- Local storage for OTP accounts.
- Optional cloud sync for encrypted OTP data.
- App lock, PIN, and device security checks.
- Backup and recovery code features.
- Device session management.
- App update checks.
- Notifications about account and security activity.
- App rating or feedback features.
BeatzLock is a security tool, but no tool can guarantee that you will never lose access to an account or that every security risk will be prevented.
3. Your account
You may need a BeatzLock account to use cloud sync, recovery, device sessions, or other online features.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account unless it is caused by BeatzLock's own failure to protect the service.
If you believe your BeatzLock account has been compromised, change your password and contact support as soon as possible.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your device, email account, passwords, PINs, and backup codes secure.
- Saving recovery codes in a safe place.
- Making sure you can still access important accounts if you remove an OTP account from BeatzLock.
- Checking that imported or manually entered OTP details are correct.
- Keeping your app updated when security or reliability updates are available.
- Using BeatzLock only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Try to break, overload, scan, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
- Use BeatzLock to access accounts that you do not own or do not have permission to manage.
- Upload malware, harmful content, or unlawful data.
- Interfere with other users or BeatzLock infrastructure.
- Attempt to bypass app, account, device, or rate-limit protections.
5. Encryption and sync
BeatzLock is designed so that OTP account sync data is encrypted before it is stored or transmitted through the sync service.
You understand that:
- Your synced OTP data may be unreadable without the correct encryption key or password-derived key.
- If you lose your password, recovery code, backup code, device, or encryption material, BeatzLock may not be able to restore your OTP accounts.
- Changing your account password may require data to be re-encrypted.
- You should keep backup codes and recovery options somewhere safe and private.
BeatzLock may store account metadata needed to run the service, such as your user account, device sessions, sync status, timestamps, and security event records.
6. Backup and recovery codes
Backup and recovery codes are sensitive. Anyone with access to valid backup or recovery codes may be able to regain access to your BeatzLock account or related data.
You agree to store them securely and not share them with anyone you do not trust. If you believe backup or recovery codes have been exposed, generate a new set if the app allows it.
7. App ratings and public content
If BeatzLock lets you submit ratings, comments, suggestions, or similar feedback, you grant BeatzLock permission to store, display, edit for formatting, and use that feedback for app improvement and public rating pages.
Do not submit private secrets, OTP codes, passwords, recovery codes, or personal information that you do not want displayed or stored.
8. Updates and changes to the app
BeatzLock may provide updates, bug fixes, security patches, new features, or changes to existing features. Some features may require a newer version of the app.
BeatzLock may change, suspend, or remove features when needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, maintenance, or product reasons.
9. Third-party services and accounts
BeatzLock may help you store OTP codes for third-party services, but BeatzLock is not responsible for those third-party services. Your use of third-party accounts remains subject to their own terms, rules, and recovery processes.
If a third-party service rejects a code, changes its login process, disables your account, or requires another recovery method, you must work with that third-party service.
10. Privacy
The BeatzLock Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared. By using BeatzLock, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
11. Security limits
BeatzLock uses security measures intended to protect the service and user data. However, no app, network, server, encryption design, or device can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You agree that you use BeatzLock with an understanding of these limits and that you will keep independent recovery options for accounts that are important to you.
12. Availability
BeatzLock may not always be available. Service interruptions may happen because of maintenance, updates, network issues, hosting provider problems, bugs, security incidents, or events outside BeatzLock's control.
Local app features may continue to work without the online service, but online features such as login, sync, update checks, recovery, notifications, legal document loading, ratings, and device sessions may require server access.
13. No professional advice
BeatzLock is a general authentication and account-security tool. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, compliance, or professional security advice.
You are responsible for deciding whether BeatzLock is suitable for your personal, business, or organizational use.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
BeatzLock is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, BeatzLock makes no warranties that the app or service will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, or suitable for every purpose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BeatzLock and its provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of access, loss of profits, business interruption, or account lockout.
This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Termination
You may stop using BeatzLock at any time. You may also request account or data deletion where available.
BeatzLock may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security risks, abuse the service, or if continued service is legally or technically impractical.
17. Changes to these terms
BeatzLock may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will show a new "Last updated" date.
If a change is important, BeatzLock may provide notice in the app, on the website, by email, or by another reasonable method. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
